Pork Roast in the slow cooker

What is for dinner?

Today it is all about the slow cooker. Pork shoulder has been selling at a great price in recent months. Pork can be delicious when cooked right. Today I put on some onion, butter, and garlic. I cooked it until the onion was soft and you could see through it. I then added some wine. The kind of wine is really up to your taste. I also added some chicken (better than bouillon). After it all mixed in, I then added the pork shoulder.

Soo,
The pork Roast has been cooking for 2 1/2 hours now.
I searched my fridge for fresh veggies. We have on hand cabbage, carrots, tomatoes and zucchini.I also have an artichoke tapenade. Thinking about cooking time, I add the tapenade now.
I will add the carrot at 1 hour to service, the zucchini 45 minutes to service, and the tomatoes and cabbage will go in together at 30 minutes to service.

I don't know how it is yet, but the Rosemarie smells great!

I will update as I go.

If it is a work day
Put everything accept the tomatoes and cabbage in before you leave in the morning, then I would add the tomatoes and cabbage when you get home. By the time you finish changing and setting the table it will be ready to serve.

We can all eat this together and in the end it will be tender and full of flavor
